Deliveries and returns

Delivery information:

Any items purchased online from Broughton Street Flowers are available for free pick up in-store during our opening hours. We also offer hand delivery on most items within the Edinburgh and East Lothian area, Wednesdays to Fridays

Delivery prices:
At checkout please select the correct delivery option according to postcode:

  • Delivery to postcodes EH1 - EH3: £8
  • Delivery to postcodes EH4 - EH16 (not EH14): £10
  • Delivery to postcodes EH17 - EH30 and EH14: £20
  • For further afield please get in touch, price on request 
Delivery terms:
The cut off time for same day deliveries is 1pm.
Please provide a preferred delivery date, however we cannot guarantee a specific time slot. Deliveries will be between 10am and 6pm. Deliveries are available Wednesday - Friday, except peak times such as Mother's Day or Valentine's Day when we may offer extra delivery days.
This doesn't apply to wedding or funeral booking where specific delivery terms will be discussed directly with customers.

Please ensure you provide a full delivery address, we cannot be held responsible for wrongly delivered items due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
 
To ensure your order reaches the recipient safely we recommend checking they will be in on the selected delivery day. If the recipient is not in at the time of delivery we will leave the item/s in a safe place or with a neighbour and post a note through the recipient's door to inform them of the location of their delivery.
If this isn't possible the item will be returned to our shop for the recipient to collect. If you would like to rearrange delivery for another day following a failed delivery attempt, the delivery fee will be charged again.

If you can provide a contact phone number for the recipient, please do. We will only use it if we absolutely must in order to complete the delivery.

If you need to make any changes to your order please contact us as soon as possible by email via info@broughtonstreetflowers.com or phone on 0131 202 2980 quoting your order number if you have one and let us know what you would like to edit. Once the order has left our shop we are unable to make further changes. The cut off time for making edits to your order is 12noon on the selected delivery day.

Returns
Fresh items
We guarantee 5 days for all of our fresh flowers and plants. We will always provide care instructions for any fresh flowers or plants purchased from us, however after 5 days we can no longer be held responsible for the condition of these items.
Due to the nature of fresh flowers and plants we cannot accept returns on these items.
If a fresh item you receive is faulty, damaged or poor quality you must notify us within 5 days of receipt, with images. Please send this via email to info@broughtonstreetflowers.com. Once we have reviewed your complaint we may replace or issue a refund.

Other items
We hope you are happy with your items, but if you change your mind you have 2 weeks from receipt to return or exchange your items.
Goods must be unused and in original packaging.
We cannot accept returns on gift vouchers.
Workshop places are non-refundable. 
Any customised or special orders are also non-refundable.

To return an item send to : Broughton Street Flowers, 87 Broughton Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3RJ - or drop off in person.

We recommend you package securely and insure the item if returning by post. We cannot be held responsible for items that go missing or get damaged in the post. 

Once we have received the item in good condition we will issue a refund to the original payment method. P&P costs are non-refundable.

If an item you receive is faulty, damaged or poor quality you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt, with images. Please send this via email to info@broughtonstreetflowers.com. Once we have reviewed your complaint we may replace or issue a refund.
